Every project is unique, and therefore each process is tailor-made to your needs and goals. But here’s a snapshot of what our process generally entails.

Already have plans and engineering drawings? Great! We can get started on costing your project immediately.  

No plans yet? That's ok too - if you're right at the start of your custom home journey, we can meet you to discuss your rough ideas and give you some options, as well as direct you to some of our trusted consultants for drawings, engineering, soil tests and surveys as required.

Once plans have been finalised, we can accurately cost your project. Bespoke builds and architectural designs have become more expensive over the last few years, but value is a priority for us. We excel at being able to offer various options for you to get the look you're after and still stay within your budget. At this stage we also lock in your desired fixtures and fittings

Now we can finalise the building contract and obtain any necessary permits for your new construction, home extension or Melbourne renovation. 

We know you're ready to start building but trust us - the more time we've spent with you getting the details in steps 1-3 right, the smoother your build will proceed!

Now the building starts on your boutique home, renovation or Melbourne home extension! Once we have all the required permits, we can start on site. The exact stages and order will depend on the project, but roughly will flow as follows:

- Demolition

- Slab or subfloor

- Framing 

- Lock up (Windows in, roof on, cladding on)

- Services Rough In (plumbing and electrical etc)

- Plastering

- Flooring, Tiling and Cabinetry

- Painting, Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry Fit off

- Handover
